POLICY
MEMBERSHIP RULES
The first responsibility of the site, HH
message board, and for you as a fan, must be to treat both Heath and his
family with dignity and respect.
Heath's Passing Has Not Changed Our
Standards.
When Heath Heathens was started, I laid out a certain
standard by which I wanted this site to operate. Because of this, HH has slightly more
definite rules than other boards. Please read them before posting.
Thanks so much for your cooperation.
In accordance with the site's
Mission Statement, the
following will be enforced with no exceptions:

As a member, you agree never to post or link to any
nude paparazzi pics of either Heath or Michelle.

You agree to never post or link to any paparazzi pics
of Heath's children.
-
For the protection of Heath and his family, members
should never post private contact addresses, including email addresses
and street names, phone numbers, financial information or any other
information that could be deemed a breach of security.

You agree to never post any hate, defamatory,
threatening, slanderous or libelous messages/material on the Heath
Heathens message board. You agree not to post jokes or stories that
could be deemed discriminatory to any ethnic group/race, religion or
sexual orientation.

You agree to avoid posting (or to edit before
posting) articles that contain hurtful innuendo, uncorroborated
accusations, or unwarranted speculation.

You agree not to speculate about the nature or status
of Heath's relationships, future children, and such items that you might
find personal yourself if strangers were discussing your private life.

You agree not to engage in political or religious
debates. This is not to say that you can't mention a personal
preference, or mention God; however, in order to ensure that everyone is
comfortable here, HH does not allow any agenda to be pushed on the site,
except our agenda of promoting Heath as an actor and his work.

You agree not to try to embarrass, humiliate, or to
engage in arguments or name calling with other members.

Any member who joins for the exclusive purpose of
posting advertisements or spam will be deleted. Spam posts will be immediately deleted at
the discretion of administrators and mods.

In your fiction and writing, you agree not to put
Heath in sexual or adult situations that would embarrass the actor if he
read them. SLASH FICTION OR SLASH POETRY is strictly forbidden, NO
EXCEPTIONS. Any found will be immediately removed and the poster
banned. No Questions Asked.

User names must be appropriate, subject to HH admin's
discretion. Please do not choose vulgar or discriminatory user
names. To preserve the dignity and rights of any actor, members
are not to pose as celebrities by using a celebrity name as their user
name. If your user name is deemed inappropriate, HH admin may
change it or contact you to request a change.

ANTI-SPAM MEASURES: New
members MUST make a first post in the members section (Heath Watercooler)
within 7 days of registration. Any members with no posts within 7 days
are automatically pruned by the system. Once new members make
their third (3rd) legitimate post, or if HH administration is familiar
with new member, he/she will be moved from Member to Friend of HH
status. Friends of HH are those members that we know will not post
advertising or spam. Friends of HH are not subject to automatic pruning.
( If you are someone that the Administration knows from another site,
please PM me as soon as you join, so I can put you directly into Friends
of HH status and you can avoid being pruned. )
Members of Administration & Moderators are exempt.
OTHER GUIDELINES
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN POSTING ARTICLES: As a Heath fansite, it
is our agenda and responsibility to promote Heath as an actor and his
work. Heath Heathens welcomes member sharing of news articles, magazine
clippings, photos, and informative snippets. However, HH is very picky
about the kinds of articles or snippets that are posted on the site.
Believing our members to be reasonable and fair Heath fans, HH is going to
trust that you will post articles that live up to our desired standards,
which are as follows:

HH chooses not to use articles from sites such as
Defamer, Gawker Stalker, Jossip, and other similar sites.

HH also chooses to edit articles that contain the
writer's "snarky" commentary. Commentary under the guise of journalism,
that is speculative or written with "attitude" and which has nothing to
do with the actual facts, is not welcome on the message board. Please
keep this in mind when sharing articles you find. If you feel an author
has a deliberate "anti-Heath" bias or is simply writing the article as
an excuse to slam Heath, do not post it, or only post the pertinent news
information and remove the unwarranted attacks.
While the forum is moderated, HH is also going to rely on the good
judgment of our members to help protect Heath from abuse at the hands of
the media.
Our number one priority is to not hurt Heath in any
way. Posts on the board must all fall under that guideline. Always
remember that you never know who is reading your posts. What do you want
your posts to say about you? What would you want Heath to think of you IF
he ever saw your posts?*
And again, thank you so much for joining and participating in the Heath
Heathens message board. Feel free to start games, film, character, and
book discussions, share artwork and poetry, and get to know your fellow
Heath fans.
We may all have many differences, but we are brought together by a shared
affinity for a wonderful actor, which makes us brothers and sisters on
this site.
