NEW ANTI-SPAM POLICY IMPLEMENTED 25th MAY 2007

To keep the board free from spam members, who invade the board and take up database space & memory, HH administration will now require new members to prove that they have a legitimate interest in joining our Heath community. For this reason, the following anti-spam policies have been implemented.

  1. New members MUST make a first post in the members section (Heath Watercooler) within 7 days of registration. Any members with no posts within 7 days are automatically pruned by the system.

  2. Once new members make their third (3rd) legitimate post, or if HH administration is familiar with new member, he/she will be moved from Member to Friend of HH status. Friends of HH are those members that we know will not post advertising or spam. Friends of HH are not subject to automatic pruning. ( If you are someone that the Administration knows from another site, please PM me as soon as you join, so I can put you directly into Friends of HH status and you can avoid being pruned. )

Members of Administration & Moderators are exempt.

  3. Members with gibberish member names (i.e. names just made up of random letters or numbers, such as xyz123) will automatically be treated as a spam and deleted.

If your account has been wrongly deleted as spam, please accept my apologies. Re-register and pm me to let me know who you are.

All Guests will continue to be able to read the news forum without registering. But only members can see or post in the members only sections.

BEFORE POSTING Please Read the Rules

laugh.gif Nah, moderators, admin, and HH friends are exempt. Because I know everyone of those and I know we're not "fake" members. Did you notice that when I pruned my membership of all the spammers, it reduced our numbers by 75%. Yup, that's right. 2/3 of our members were spammers.

Was driving me crazy keeping up with it. unsure.gif
