TORONTO FILM FESTIVAL TICKET INFORMATION

There are 3 easy ways to purchase tickets:

1. Gala tickets – Available starting August 26, 2006.
Gala tickets can be ordered online, by phone at 416-968-FILM or in person at the year-round or Festival Box Offices.
If Galas are listed as OFF SALE, please continue to check back as new inventory may become available.


2. Advance tickets – Available starting September 6, 2006.
Advance tickets can be ordered online, by phone at 416-968-FILM or in person at the year-round or Festival Box Offices. Tickets can be ordered until 7:00pm the night before a screening. (For example, if the film you want to see is playing September 9, 2006, you may purchase single tickets up until 7:00PM, September 8, 2006)

To pick up your tickets visit the year-round or Festival Box Office locations or the Theatre Box Office where your first film is being screened. If you are picking up tickets at the theatre please do this at least one hour prior to screening time.
Don’t be disappointed – buy your tickets in advance and make the most of the Festival!

3. Same Day tickets:
If a screening is not sold out any remaining tickets will be made available online, by phone at 416-968-FILM or in person at the year-round and Festival Box Offices at 7:00 AM on the day of the screening. Tickets are also available at the Theatre Box Office beginning 1 hour prior to first screening of the day.
Tickets for screenings that were previously unavailable may become available on the day of the screening.

4. Rush Tickets:
Think the film you want to see is sold out? Maybe not – check the rush lines.
When advance tickets are sold out, a line of non-ticket holders forms outside of the theatre. This is known as the Rush Line.
If seats become available, the Festival’s Theatre Representative may allow people from the Rush Line to purchase tickets, or exchange an appropriate pass or coupon to gain admittance.
