The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus finally got a proper U.S. premiere in New York on Monday night. The premiere was held at the Crosby Street Hotel, fittingly in Heath's adopted neighborhood of Soho.

On the "carpet", Lily Cole towered over director Terry Gilliam showing off her supermodel legs in pinstriped thigh-high boots that matched her shorts suit.

The fantasy film, which opens in limited release on Christmas day, is Heath Ledger's last. Cole plays opposite Ledger in the female lead of Valentina, daughter of traveling magician (Christopher Plummer) who makes a deal with the Devil (Tom Waits).

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus will go wide in January.
