Audience-friendly films are the point of the Spotlight series at the Hampton International Film Festival, which showcases studio releases. Among the highlights in this 14th installment of the festival are “Candy,” with Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish as lovers spiraling into heroin addiction, and “Who the #$&% Is Jackson Pollock?,” a documentary about a woman trying to authenticate a Pollock painting.
