HEATH Ledger has joined the ranks of international Aussie celebs coming home for Chrissie.

The one-time Bronte resident in Sydney's eastern suburbs, who fled to the US after being hounded by the city's snappers, flew straight to Perth this week.

The Oscar-winner's fiancee Michelle Williams and one-year-old daughter Matilda Rose are expected to join Ledger and his father's family for the holidays.

Asked if Ledger had forgiven Sydney photographers, or would bring the clan here for a quick visit before heading back to LA, Ledger's dad Kim was tight-lipped.

"We're a very private family,'' he said.

"I don't know (about a trip to Sydney).''
