I just found this on You Tube and thought you all might be interested in seeing it....this took place last year right after Heath's passing, but this is the first time I have seen it.

That was beautiful, Marianne! Thank you.

I remember Ryan Gosling wearing a black ribbon at the SAGs last year. He was also one of the people calling for Heath's family to be left alone. Couriermail.com.au Jan 28 2008

Oh! While searching for a link for this post I also stumbled upon this, that I can't remember reading before:

QUOTE
Sydney-based Blanchett, in the United States for the Screen Actors' Guild awards, said 28-year-old Heath Ledger had been an incredible talent who was evolving into something very special as an actor.

"I'd like to pay special tribute to Heath Ledger who I think was an extraordinary actor and was well on his way to being a master himself," she said.

"We will all miss you enormously."

Cate Blanchett and Ledger depicted different characters of musician Bob Dylan.

The two, however, did not shot scenes in the movie together. But Blanchett did recall seeing Ledger on set and said his presence was a joy and memorable.

"I didn't have the great fortune of working with him but the last image I have, just this strong image, would be him dancing the first day he arrived on set," she told People.

"(He) was just so joyful and I just admire the way he kept evolving as an actor.
I think it's a tragic, tragic loss and everyone is reeling."

Angel and Nina,
Thank you both so much for finding these great tributes. It always fills me with a sense of immense pride and happiness to hear Heath acknowledged in such ways by others who are so well respected in his field.

Very nice, there are so many actors that didn't know Heath and yet he influenced them in some way

Thank you, Marianne, for sharing!
It is always so nice to hear sincere and respectful words about Heath from his colleagues. It just makes me even more sure (though it's actually impossible being more sure)smile.gif about how special Heath was managing to touch so many hearts and move them so deeply by his pure self.
