To post the other pics you need to upload them to photobucket and then copy the img code that you'll find at the bottom of each pic once it's been uploaded by clicking on it. Just paste each code you've copied into the the text field here (separate line for each photo). I hope this makes sense...

I love the Flying picture and I also love the pics where he is fighting with Batman, there you see a bit more Heath, in the other's it he is totally The joker

these are great James. I wonder how they hooked Heath up to hang upside down and how long he was there. You can pass out if you stay like that too long. I bet he had breaks if the shot took too long

maybe they got it in one take.

yea no doubt he poured his soul into that role, we are not watching heath, we are watching the joker, if he doesent get an oscar i dont want to see who does.

I'm with you....if he doesn't get that Oscar, I have no desire to even follow who gets nominated anymore. He deserves that Oscar more than anyone this time around.

ow I know ,I'm certain he was. When he was asked about the joker his face always changed in this proud, but mysterious smile.
His pose made me smile, not to mention his face lol.

Members do not have to start new threads if there is already an appropriate thread to put it in. We don't all have to have "our own" threads. It's easier for people to find things if they're all together instead of 20 threads of Joker pictures.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was his own interpretation...yes...
He's brilliant, afterall. And did improv a lot. Pure instinct.

I'll look at the script, although I think the script that was released is more an exact version of what was onscreen, instead of the original scripts.

Thanks, James. That "modelling" set is hard to find, because they were never done as promotional photos. They were done as poses for the DC artists that did the DC Direct collectible dolls. At one point, a couple were leaked early last summer, and the WB freaked and had them pulled. LOL So they're really hard to get your hands on. Now they don't care as much, but then, it was before any of the toys had been made and before they had stopped filming or released any Joker photos...

These are some of my favorite, because they show Heath, not just in character, but "working"... doing the poses for the art and marketing departments... part of the job...being a professional.
That's one reason I love these shots so much...

I also like the style. Ironically, we happen to be doing large format shots right now in class, in the style of Richard Avadon... with the completely white background, etc... just like that. I like the starkness ... LOL

Okay, I have watched TDK multiple times and didn't flinch when he talked about where he got the scars or during the "pencil" trick.

However, those "modeling" shots scare the crap out of me (especially that last one!) The way he holds his body, the posture, the face..

Since the beginning, I've been in the thick of the TDK fan experience. I was giddy...and sitting on the edge of my seat every day, the minute filming started, waiting for the leaks: set photos, script pages, extras talking even though they had signed confidentiality agreements, fan-spies waiting up on rooftops to get footage of Heath filming, the WB's legal department trying to stop anyone from posting anything on the film, esp a photo of Heath as the Joker. And then the viral marketing was brilliant!
It was so exciting!

Heath being cast as the Joker was the most exciting news to me of Heath's career...
