I actually broke down in my interview at the Art Institute today.
Oh, sweetie - I'm so sorry! How are doing now afterwords. Hope you're not beating yourself up for doing that!!

Nah. It was a grueling 3+ hour interrogation . . .

ummm . . . I mean, interview.

They're very picky about who they let in, as they keep their class sizes to 15 to 18 people.
I got good news & bad news.
The good news is, after sending my interrogation/interview notes to the committee, I was accepted. Their programs seem like something I can handle, as do the classes.
Bad news is . . . it costs between $15,000 and $20,000 (yup, THOUSAND!)!!!!

I was completely disheartened. I'm still going back tomorrow, to complete the essay and application process and meet with Financial Aid. But any scholarships and grants I'm qualified for will only cover about $5,000 of it. . . I'm going to meet tomorrow, just with the hopes that there's something else that can be done, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be possible. Shame, too. Because if you get accepted, and don't take it, the next time you try, they make it harder on you, because they're not sure if you're going to waste their time or follow through or not.
I'm just crossing my fingers . . . and holding my breath. Maybe it won't be as bad as I think . . .

Anyway, back on topic . . . I could learn to be the one photographing and editing posters like those.

That would be a hoot! teehee
