They are so lovely!

I have to tell you, I'm having a really hard time with this . . . the new products and posters seem to make it feel like Heath's still here . . . and I'm glad for it. But it also makes it an extra shock and confuses my emotions to realize he's not. . . On one hand, it helps to hold on to him, but on the other, it makes it harder to come to terms . . .

I actually broke down in my interview at the Art Institute today.

They really are!
And I know what you mean; it really is confusing... Part of the reason that I keep posting updates about it is simply that since I started doing it, I might just keep doing it. But I also think it's part of the denial phase: when I focus on this I can forget the harsh reality. Also: it's nice to deal with news that are essentially positive, in stead of the crap most of the media has been considering to be news these last months...

Nah. It was a grueling 3+ hour interrogation . . . blink.gif ummm . . . I mean, interview. tongue.gif They're very picky about who they let in, as they keep their class sizes to 15 to 18 people.

I got good news & bad news.

The good news is, after sending my interrogation/interview notes to the committee, I was accepted. Their programs seem like something I can handle, as do the classes.

Bad news is . . . it costs between $15,000 and $20,000 (yup, THOUSAND!)!!!! ohmy.gif blink.gif ohmy.gif I was completely disheartened. I'm still going back tomorrow, to complete the essay and application process and meet with Financial Aid. But any scholarships and grants I'm qualified for will only cover about $5,000 of it. . . I'm going to meet tomorrow, just with the hopes that there's something else that can be done, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be possible. Shame, too. Because if you get accepted, and don't take it, the next time you try, they make it harder on you, because they're not sure if you're going to waste their time or follow through or not.

I'm just crossing my fingers . . . and holding my breath. Maybe it won't be as bad as I think . . . unsure.gif

Anyway, back on topic . . . I could learn to be the one photographing and editing posters like those. tongue.gif That would be a hoot! teehee
