and it's the best I've seen so far, and it's the one I would really want to have

... but I dare not tattoo anything Heath had, I don't know, it would feel really weird.
I completely understand. When he was still here, I would never have gotten one of his personal tattoos, and even advised another member against it, because I didn't think he'd like someone taking his self-designed personal ink. A few month after she posted it on a couple of sites where he would've seen it, he had it inked over with a dragonfly. I always thought that placement might have been partly because he wanted to reclaim its uniqueness.
But after he passed, it was different. It was a really strong need of mine a the time; it had to be as close as possible, and I needed to know I could carry this identical artwork with me forever on my skin.
I felt that if I could ask him at that point, and him no longer being on this "plane of existence", he would not be concerned with something like that and most likely would have understood why I HAD to have something identical. So it no longer felt weird; it merely felt "essential". (If that makes any sense.

Hey ! I plan to do the bracelet tatoo, too...Just wanted to check (if it is not too indiscreet) how much did it cost to ya ...
Mine cost me $100 ( €73) + the customary 20% tip (in the states) . . . IF you don't count that I had to have it done twice because the first time it became inflamed and faded in 3 months. Check out your artist carefully ahead of time, and good luck.
