NO ILLEGAL DRUGS

To keep you updated, I'm posting this report I just watched from CBS news. At 4:30 pm EST, CBS news showed the NY commissioner of police, and the commissioner stressed strongly that "NO ILLEGAL DRUGS were found in Mr. Ledger's apartment."
There had been a question about a rolled up $20 that was found in Heath's apartment and fans have been anxiously awaiting an answer to whether any illegal substance was found on the bill. But tonight at 6:43 pm EST, the CBS Nightly News reported that the $20 bill was absolutely clean of any chemical. THERE WAS NO COCAINE on the bill.
It is now absolutely certain, per the NY medical examiner's office, that Heath's tragic passing was absolutely an accident.
This does not change that we have lost one of the most wonderful, talented, instinctual and special men of his generation. The news does not calm our mourning, and I am devastated to have to report any of this. But it's deeply personal to me that I pass on to you the true information to ensure that Heath's reputation is not tarnished. It greatly relieves my heart to know that Heath will not be remembered as one of those actors who passed because of illicit chemicals.
So when you see reports on Inside Edition, The Insider, and other exploitative shows who are still behind on the news, please remember that every medication that the police removed IS LEGAL and was legally obtained. Any prescriptions Heath had were for valid and for legitimate reasons. There was NO ALCOHOL in his system and NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE in his apartment.
Again please, it's so important that we remember: The police have unequivocably vindicated Heath of any illegal drug use in this tragedy.
