Batman flutters to Hong Kong
A bright-bat logo, the police chief Gordon with a giant spotlight in the night sky sends to the dark avenger to Hong Kong.


Inextricably linked to Batman and the classic skyline of Gotham City, the dark metropolis, the super-villains The Joker, Two-Face, and the Riddler terrorize citizens. But it's been revealed from the Cardington London set of the Dark Knight, in the second comic adventure with new-Batman Christian Bale, Batman leaves his hometown for the first time to go gangster-hunting in Hong-Kong.

"We filmed the scenes even directly on the ground in Hong Kong," revealed producer Chuck Roven. "Unfortunately, I still can not tell why Batman travels there." That Roven had other spectacular news: The first five minutes of the film will advance in conjunction with Will Smith's new Alien-Kracher "I Am Legend" show, but perhaps only in IMAX-Kinos. It tells the history of the Jokers, in the "Dark Knight" Batmans great opponents.

"The whole thing is not 'Joker Begins', because we did not tell how the Joker became what he is", says director Christopher Nolan. "During these five minutes it is shown how the joker of the small crook becomes the most-dreaded gangster of the city - it is more of a "The Rise of the Joker"

Actor Christian Bale, however, has a new gimmick in his Batman suit. In "Dark Knight", Batman's new mask will have white lenses on the eyes when he turns on the Bat-sonar detection, giving the dark avenger an absolutely ghostly appearance!
