Candy - Two lovers fall into a world of lust, addiction and self-destruction. This story is narrated by an Australian man who falls in love with two kinds of Candy: a woman of the same name and heroin. The narrator changes from a smart-aleck to someone trying to find a vein to inject, while Candy changes from an actress, call girl, streetwalker, and then a madwoman. Starting in Sydney, the two eventually end up in Melbourne to go clean, but they fail. This leads them to turn to finding money and heroin, while other possessions and attachments become unimportant.

The Order (aka Sin Eater) - Alex Bernier (Ledger) is a member of an arcane order of priests known as Carolingians. When the head of the order dies, Alex is sent to Rome to investigate mysterious circumstances surrounding the death. The body bears strange marks on the chest which may or may not be the sign of a Sin Eater (Furmann), a renegade who offers absolution, last rites and therefore a path to heaven outside the jurisdiction of the church. Alex enlists the aid of his old comrade Father Thomas (Addy) and of a troubled artist (Sossamon) upon whom he once performed an exorcism. He soon finds himself plunged into a mystery only to find himself at the heart of it.

Ned Kelly - This film is based on "Our Sunshine" by Robert Drew. In the late19th century, Australia's first-generation Irish immigrant population lives in poverty. Having experienced police brutality and the death of his father, bushranger Ned (Heath Ledger) is wrongfully imprisoned on the trumped-up charge of stealing a horse. Emerging a few years later, Ned is hardened but vows to stay straight. But the British colonial system remains prejudiced against Australia's working people. In 1878, a bullying police officer is rebuffed by Ned's younger sister Kate and targets the family for harassment. Ned and his mother are unjustly charged with attempted murder. Ned is determined to avenge his family's name and strike back against his people's oppressors. While hiding in the bush, he forms a loyal Gang that includes his best friend and first lieutenant Joe Byrne. They blaze a trail through the Outback, robbing banks to fund themselves as well as to recover immigrants' land deeds, and giving police the runaround. To the masses, Ned is a hero. To lawmen and the establishment, he is the most wanted man in Australia. When the authorities bring in the formidable Superintendent Francis Hare, and an army of police, Ned strategizes a risky showdown at the Glenrowan Inn. It is this event which will seal his fate - and his legend.

A Knight's Tale - In the Middle Ages, there is only one form of competition to separate the men from the boys: jousting tournaments. The Patriot - The movie takes place in South Carolina in 1776. Benjamin Martin, a French-Indian war hero who is haunted by his past, wants no part in a war with Britian. When South Carolina decides to go to war with Britain, Gabriel immediately signs up to fight...without his father's permission.
